Spock's Box!

Heh, so today sucked. Even though I'm responsible for the SGP document, it was another teammate doing the majority of the work on it. That'd be because he has Quark Pro (some fancy doc creator) and I don't. So he went to Kinko's just after midnight last night to find that they're 24 hours a day, only Monday - Friday. Being 12:00am Saturday, they were closed. So he tried printing it at home, but he didn't have any ink. So he tried printing at his dad's office, but they didn't have Quark & he couldn't connect to the printer. So he waited until Kinko's opened at 7am. They have Quark on a broken Mac, that would cost a bit extra to run. Instead of paying the $60, he went out and bought a printer from Wal-Mart for that much. Well, the printer didn't like Quark, so it wouldn't print. Quark has the option to export to pdf, which we could then print in the school media center. Unfortunately, it "prints" to pdf. The print driver was screwed, so he couldn't export to pdf. Luckily, Quark will also export to a random picture format. Unfortunately, it wasn't bitmap. So it took about a minute and a half to export each page from Quark into Photoshop. It took about half a minute to print. So on our sixty page document, we spent over two hours printing. The teachers were very upset. But being late didn't account for the lack of information in some parts. With the fact that the document was my responsibility, it's probably my fault. We still came out with a 118 out of 150 (approx 78%). And now we have to complete/fix the bad parts. *sigh* Sucky ass class.
